We will respond to a ticket raised on the helpdesk or an email to guqfacilities@georgetown.edu within one working day. For any tasks that take more than a week to resolve we will update you every week.

Ramadan Hours and Traffic Logistics 2025
Please find here the Ramadan hours for the Campus Services departments including Facilities Management Services.
As in 2024 we hope to use the VIP driveway for Ramadan activities this year (weather permitting) so all drop off traffic will be redirected to the 0A03 entrance – see map and details here.
Education City Ramadan Tent, Evening Prayers, and Traffic Arrangements by QF
Like last year, Qatar Foundation (QF) will again set up the Ramadan Tent at the Education City
Mosque (Minaretein) this year. To ensure safe access for Iftar and prayers, QF has shared the
following traffic arrangements, which will be in effect from March 1 to March 30:
Gate 5 Access Restrictions: Entry and exit through Gate 5 will be restricted daily from 5:00
PM to 5:00 AM.
Alternative Exits for GU-Q and EC Community Members: Those leaving the GU-Q building
(and Education City) after 5:00 PM should exit using Gate 2 or 3, as Gate 5 will not be
accessible.
Controlled Access Near QNL Roundabout: The road from QNL Roundabout toward GU-
Q/NU-Q will be controlled with barricades. Only affiliated community members or
participating guests and food delivery will be permitted entry between 5:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
Please advise guests and food delivery personnel to mention the university name when visiting
or delivering orders. QF security personnel should allow them to pass through accordingly.
The Minaretein Car Park will not be accessible for entry or exit after 5pm so we recommend using the Oxygen Park, Car Park which will be accessible 24/7.

Event Management
The Events Team offers one-stop shop service to help you plan and execute your event. Once you place an event request, we will coordinate with Building Operations, AV, Procurement, Communications, Transportation, and QF on your behalf to ensure a hassle-free process for you.
