Building Operations Safety and Security (BOSS) provide comprehensive building safety, security, MEP maintenance, landscape, custodial, pest control, and recycling duties, and a range of event support services to Georgetown University Qatar. Our services are tailored to meet the needs of our faculty, staff, and students who occupy a wide variety of facility types, ranging from teaching environments to libraries and common areas. We manage a team of over 100 dedicated service provider employees servicing more than 50,000 square meters of building space and over 25 acres of University occupied landscaped grounds.

GU-Q Building is accessible 24 hours a day. After 10 pm visitors will no longer be able to enter and any already on site will be asked to leave the building.
Please note that due to current COVID-19 restrictions, building access will continue with green Ehteraz.
As of September 1, 2022, masks are no longer required inside the GU-Q building.
Building Entry and Exits are as below:
- Main Entrance (Library) 7am to 8:30pm
- VIP Entrance 7am to 8:30pm (exit 24/7 from Auditorium side).
- Car Park 1 (underground) 7am to 4:00pm (exit at any time)
- Loading Dock 24/7 entry & exit
For food deliveries please direct the driver to the Loading Dock and meet them there.
Service Level Standards
To best serve the University business, requested services/maintenance actions must be planned, scheduled, and performed in some order of criticality. This prioritization allows for appropriate response times and the employment of FM resources in an efficient and effective manner.
The following priority categories have been established in line with standardized QF FM processing of work requests, and onsite available resources to serve as a guide for customer expectations.
