The Georgetown Qatar Giving Crescent – Eid Al-Adha 2026

The spirit of the Giving Crescent is rooted in our commitment to community and gratitude. Although our initial plans for this spring were put on hold due to regional tensions and uncertainty over the past few months, we are now ready to celebrate Eid Al-Adha together again. This year’s initiative carries a deeper significance. We wish to specifically acknowledge and honor our dedicated service provider staff. Despite the challenges and anxieties brought on by the recent conflict, these individuals have remained steadfast, ensuring our building and campus continue to function as a safe, welcoming home for us all. Let us use this occasion of Eid Al-Adha to show them that their hard work and resilience do not go unnoticed.

All purchased gifts will be distributed at the Service Providers Lunch on June 13th.

In three simple steps, you can participate in this celebration:

2. Shop for one of the items requested on the wish list. Maximum spend per gift is QR 300.

3. Drop the gift to the Bookstore by June 7th.
