The Georgetown Qatar Giving Crescent

The month of Ramadan provides us all with a chance to reflect on the value of our community while celebrating the season of giving. The Dean’s Office would like to invite you to join our new initiative – The Georgetown Qatar Giving Crescent.

We would like to invite faculty, students, and staff to purchase gifts requested by one of our valued service provider staff.  These gifts would bring a great deal of joy for the recipients!  

A festive Ramadan crescent will be displayed in the atrium with a star for each of the requested gifts. As each gift is reserved the star will be removed.  All purchased gifts will be distributed at the final Dean’s Office Weekly Iftar on April 3rd.

In three simple steps, you can participate in this celebration:

1. CLICK HERE for the list, choose a gift and add your name. You will receive an email confirming your choice.

2. Shop for one of the two choices for that recipient. Maximum spend per gift is QR 250.

3. Wrap and label the gift with the gift number and your name and drop it into the Bookstore by March 28th.
