Building Operations Safety and Security (BOSS) provides comprehensive building safety, security, MEP maintenance, landscape, custodial, pest control, and recycling duties, and a range of event support services to Georgetown University Qatar. Our services are tailored to meet the needs of our faculty, staff, and students, who occupy various facility types, ranging from teaching environments to libraries and common areas. We manage a team of over 100 dedicated service provider employees servicing more than 50,000 square meters of building space and over 25 acres of university-occupied landscaped grounds.

The GU-Q Building is accessible 24 hours a day. Effective December 1, 2024, visitors can access the building from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. After 6 p.m., visitors can no longer enter, and anyone already on site will be asked to leave the building.
Building Entry and Exits are as follows:
- Main Entrance (Library) 7 am to 12:00 am (midnight)
- VIP Entrance 7 am to 12:00 am midnight (from the Auditorium side: exit 24/7 & for access use/swipe GUID ).
- Car Park 1 (underground) 6:30 am to 4:00 pm ( access after 4 pm, use/swipe GUID; exit 24/7)
- Loading Dock 24/7 entry & exit
0A11 Glass door 8 am to 11:30 am (Weekdays only)
Please direct the driver to the Loading Dock for food deliveries and meet them there.

Service Level Standards
To best serve the University business, requested services/maintenance actions must be planned, scheduled, and performed in some order of criticality. This prioritization allows for appropriate response times and employing FM resources efficiently and effectively.
The following priority categories have been established in line with standardized QF FM processing of work requests and onsite available resources to serve as a guide for customer expectations.
